Overview

Welcome to the home page of the IT/FIO Fabric Developments section.

We are responsible for developing, deploying and running several major services within IT. Among the most important are:

• The Extremely Large Fabric Management toolsuite (ELFms), consisting of:
  • Quattor - for automatic installation/configuration/management of UNIX/Linux clusters
  • LEMON - LHC-Era Monitoring
  • LEAF - LHC-Era Automated Fabric tools for hardware (HMS) and state management (SMS)
  • SLS (Service Level Status) and SDB (Service Database)
  • SINDES
  • CC Tracker
• Remedy, CERN's problem tracking service
• Cluman is a new project, started beginning of 2008
